Dyno Day! TopSpeed Motorsports - Sunday, Dec 7th, 2014

    I've been slacking with getting this on the site, but I was talking with Mike@TopSpeed about potentially putting a dyno day together.

    Where: TopSpeed Motorsports
    What: 3 pulls on their dyno!
    When: Sunday, December 7th 10am - 6pm
    Price: $50 per car for 3 pulls.

    paypal address for dyno payment is paypal @ topspeedtuned[dot]com.PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR USERNAME Also be sure to put in the comments field this is for the WRXAtlanta dyno day.

    Food (burgers, hot dogs, chips, sides) and sodas/water will be provided along with a fun day getting to know other Subaru Enthusiasts!

    This will be open to anyone within the community.

    Our new Dyno gets installed the first week of November and I am currently still working out details and dates with Cicio so the dates should be settled pretty soon.

    Ya, that's going to be too soon anyways as we do have to allow a certain amount of time for the concrete to dry after it's installed.

    He almost let us shoot him with a potato gun....then we shot a random car door that was sitting around at topspeed, he saw the huge dent it put in it, and decided not to go through with it.

    Honestly, it was just time for an upgrade. We have ordered a top of the line Mustang and that will help in a few different areas: It's a linked dyno so now we won't have to pull the driveshafts in cars like the GT-R and Porsches. Also, the Mustangs are a load bearing dyno so it will reduce the need for Doug to take cars on the street as much (especially the really high HP cars) and ultimately reduce the chances of speeding tickets or wrecks. The newer Mustangs are also a lot more accurate for cars that make 1200+ whp and since we've been building so many of those lately it will help with the tuning of those cars big time.

    Probably the coolest reason is that we can do full launches and drag passes lol!

    Been meaning to get a baseline on my current ride.

    Would it be a problem if I showed up in a RWD vehicle (Magnum Srt-8)? I understand if so. Miss having a Subaru and still like to keep up with the community every once in a while.

    If by "HILARIOUS to video," you mean "a potentially funny prank turned snuff film," yeah.

    I recall being nervous and thinking "I probably ought to leave about now" when talk of shooting the dude went down. That gun was no joke. Maybe if they boiled the ammunition a little first. I think I'm just getting too old and high strung to be in close proximity of Jackass style antics.

    as of now, we're going to limit the cars to 20. if we can get through the 20 reasonably quick, then we'll have a wait list day of.
