Hope everyone had a great holiday and is ready to come hang out this weekend! If you haven't signed up, we do have a few slots left so make sure you post up and pay so we can reserve you a spot. If you aren't signed up and don't plan to dyno your car, please come by to hang out anyways! I'm looking forward to this, it should be a great time!
Since I literally just got mine Dyno'd, is it cool if I just stop on by to hang out with everyone if I'm not doing a pull on the Dyno? TS is too close to my house not to attend this. Lol.
Guys read the posts.....it has been mentioned time and time again that you don't have to dyno to attend. Everyone is welcome whether you dyno or not.
In the process of paying up now , and paid. Current Configuration: 2005 STi, 68Kmi/Cobb Stage II Turbo Back Exhaust System [Catted DP]; Std. 93 Oct. Cobb AP Map (v3); Snorkus Delete Tube, Stock Airbox and OEM Filter.
If everyone that is putting their car on the Dyno wants to post up what they are actually putting on the Dyno and a brief list of modifications I'll keep track and we can have a score board of sorts.
Alright guys, getting close here!! Just a couple reminders and details: The event will be from 10:00A - 4:00P. If you're on the list to have your car dyno'd please arrive by 10 and check-in with me when you arrive. We will be providing hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and drinks. This is on us for everyone that arrives - yes even if you are not paying to dyno your car! Donations are always appreciated but certainly not required. There is no smoking anywhere inside the shop or offices. If you choose to smoke outside please put your trash in the dumpster (making sure they are not lit of course ). Everyone is welcome so if you have friends or family that would like to come, by all means, please bring them. Please please please keep your speed down in the business park and refrain from doing dumb stuff (you know what I'm talking about ha) - we've had some "issues" with the city from some of this in the past so I'd really like it if they didn't show up We will be doing our best to make the parking lot available to park in but if it's full when you arrive then please park on the street in front of the shop and leave enough room for our neighbors to get in and out if they need to. Most importantly, let's have some fun! Just in case you guys don't have it, the shop address is: TopSpeed Motorsports 2130 Brandon Trail Alpharetta, GA 30004 Directions from Caffeine and Octane are: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/UBS+Financial+Services+Inc.,+12600+Deerfield+Pkwy,+Alpharetta,+GA+30004/TopSpeed+Motorsports,+2130+Brandon+Trail,+Alpharetta,+GA,+United+States/@34.1158572,-84.2772303,14z/data=!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x88f59e1fddd15acd:0xbbc9ceb5f4590ad6!2m2!1d-84.270531!2d34.089542!1m5!1m1!1s0x88f59dbab5993d6f:0xef4bfe81fb866e68!2m2!1d-84.239665!2d34.140442!3e0 If you need anything or have any questions feel free to email or call me! mike@topspeedtuned.com 678-297-7770 - Shop
One more thing guys, if you have a front lip on your car and it's really low the bumper may have to come off so it can be strapped to the dyno. I would suggest coming on the earlier side to do so and we are happy to provide tools/help with that. Thanks!
Looking forward to Caffeine and Octane and Dyno day all in one day. Should be a great day of hanging out with some awesome cars and car enthusiasts!
If anyone there sees this, i'm still coming. Hopefully they haven't given away my dyno spot. Was up with a screaming four month old last night and had to get some sleep. Hope to be there in an hour or so.
wow. AWESOME turnout. Thank you to the fine folks at TopSpeed for hosting us, especially on a Sunday! they did a fantastic job keeping us on track! Also wanted to extend a big thank you to those who came out. I wasn't expecting that many people! I'm assuming the nice weather (and free food) helped play a part in that.

Thanks to the WRXAtlanta Leadership and TopSPEED for this event. It was great to see such a variety of cars and to get so many great experiences with our community, starting with C&O, all in one day. Also it was excellent to get objective data as well as to hear the car outside the cockpit at max RPM. 259hp/289tq [Thanks Mike] GoPro Video with quality sound captured courtesy of Ben Francis http://youtu.be/j0pfUbWR7LQ
Thank you again for coming out yesterday, we had a blast and hope you all did as well! Definitely not the same kind of numbers that we are used to seeing on our Dynojet but it was really cool to see the differences and really see a bunch of different setups. Wish I could of gotten there earlier and stayed longer, but I really enjoyed getting to see y'all and see some awesome cars. Really wish I could've stayed to see that GTR run. And just because I'm an ass, I'd like to point out that I got the second highest numbers on that list. In a Chrysler product. My car was also by far the biggest, fattest vehicle there, but we won't talk about that. :coolugh: It was good to get it out one more time and have some fun; a guy who came and looked at it Saturday called this morning and committed to buying it this week. Maybe I'll be back on here with a Subaru sooner than I thought.
