For those of you who were at the install day yesterday, we made the announcement yesterday that we've brought back the scavenger hunt! This is a paid timed event that will take place all around the great city we call home! Now for some of the details. There will be more to follow: Date: Saturday, June 4th, 2016 Time: 9:30am - 6pm Location: JPM Coachworks (the hunt will start there and end there. Cost: $25/team. This will cover your entry fee. Catering: Our great friends at Grand Champion BBQ will be there with their mobile smoker and will be providing food. We are still working out the details on that, but it will be a separate price for food. We'll try to get the price down as low as possible for you! The time is VERY important. As this is a timed event, every participant must be present at 10am so that you can hear the rules and regulations. At that time, you will decide on a team captain who will be the liaison with the admins/moderators who are the facilitators of the event. The cost of $25 will cover a maximum of 4 "players" per team. All teams will participate in ONE vehicle, and it must be a Subaru. There will be more rules and regulations and you'll receive those at the day of the event. Okay guys... Here's the deal. Grand Champion is going to be more expensive than we originally thought it would be, meaning it would cost more for everyone. So we can go back to doing burgers and hot dogs with chips and other sides for a LOT less than grand champion would cost. What does everyone think? Would you be okay with burgers and dogs for say.... $8/person versus $15+ for bbq?
Hey guys! Just so you know, this is a TIMED event and there will be a mandatory meeting at 10am to go over the rules and regulations. Make sure you get there early to get your packet, make sure you've paid, and sign the waiver! See you all tomorrow!
