UP/DP Question

    If I put on a TurboXS UP and a catted Stromung DP will I have any CEL's? Is there anything else that I need to do after installing these or do I just install and i'm done? Just wondering cause i've read that some people have cels after installing this stuff and then they have to start changing other stuff. Basically what I mean is will I need to do anything to the ECU or get anything for it? Thanks!

    OMG...I just read TurboXS UP install instructions...I dont know if I want to install this thing now. I can do it, just dont know if I want to do it. Is it a PITA or what? 5 hours??? Are you kidding me!

    It can be 3-6 hours on average.... it's a PITA, but not particularly difficult.

    Yes, you will throw a CEL from the catless UP. I'm not sure if the catted DP will throw a cell as well.

    The UP might throw the EGT CEL which can be fixed with a 2.2 kohm resistor from Radio Shack. The catless DP WILL throw a P0420 - the cat code. It can be fixed with HELP! brand part number 42002 at Advanced Auto, Pep Boys, Autozone, etc. It's in the red packages with the white HELP! written on it.

    Doing an UP is a ROYAL pain. We do UP and DP for 3.5 hours - I would pay somebody to do it ;)

    Installing an uppipe is not that bad 3 hour the most
