Hey, We're going to try and book one for Thursday December 22nd. If we can't get enough deposits, we'll shoot for second week of January. It'll be the standard 6 students, 3 instructors, 9 hours at the track. Lead-follow laps, ride-along at speed with instructors, in-car instruction, classroom instruction, the all-important skidpad time, lunch, drinks, pics and video. $400 per student. If you want to do a school on the 22nd, post up SS
Excellent! If y'all can either bring me a check or cash, or paypal me the $200 deposit, I'll go ahead and book the track, and we'll be rolling. paypal is siegelracing@hotmail.com SS
to all: i have been to this school earlier this year... it is definitely worth every penny... u get a ton of track time, a good amount of it with an instructor in ur car... lil tally is one of the safer tracks out there too... u will leave knowing a LOT more about ur car and how to drive it... unfortunately i will be in india so im not gonna make it... bump for an awesome school
^^^ Excellent. I have deposits from gt9729b and Monk. If I can get them from Alex, Snark, and Jsays, I'll book the track immediately. It will be great to get y'all out there. SS
thanks for answering my question scott :dunno can i come with alex and not pay since i dont have a car to track or pay some and sit in on the classroom sessions?
I wasn't exactly sure what you meant... You can rent my Miata for $400... You would be welcome to attend, but normally class is reserved for paying customers... if we don't have 6 students we'll work something out. Scuby Drew is out BTW. If anybody else wants in, hit me up. I'll be posting this to non-Subarus tonight SS
Almost anytime. I've got a Honda getting on the dyno today at 2, so I'll definitely be around here then. I'm here most days from at least 9-5. Generally I'm never more than 4-5 miles from the dealership, so if you just call me on my cell, I'll meet you back here. SS
We've got Monk, Alex, gt97.., and Snarkbreeder. Jsays, if you still want to come I need the $200 deposit ASAP. Right now there are 2 student positions left. It looks like we will be having Eric Chapman as one of the other instructors. Eric has been a turbo and suspension mentor to me for years. He had a 2200lb, 375+ whp Datsun known as the Blue Beast that terrorized tracks throughout the South East for years. He graduated GT undergrad a few years ago, and is almost done with his GT Masters in Mechanical Engineering. His senior project was a Le Mans level water-cooled braking system, which not only designed but built a working set I am thrilled to finally be having him as an instructor. I will make another post, but it looks like SRDEC's should be the Second Thursday of each month, starting with January 12th. As always, if anybody has any questions, please do not hesitate to call me anytime, SS
