I heard that if you print out your member profil and go up to SoG you can get any vehicle on the lot @ invoice. Just ask for Gary, Neal or Chris they can hook you up!!! :eek2:
I might have to tell my parents about this. My mom's really eyeing a Leg GT wagon and doesnt need her old caravan anymore.
Has anyone actually done this? This would be a serious change in their sales "philosophy" (for the better... and I would applaud it).
Well, when we tried to work out a price on an 05 STi a few months ago, there was nothing we could do to make the price even remotely competitive.
What I know! Listen I'm not an expert on buying or selling cars, however I do know when a dealership show a customer pricing they "try" to put a deal together that makes sense to both the dealership and the customer and most importantly they try not to loose money. However, other dealerships will low ball a dealerships price so the other will loose the deal and money. SoG is the biggest Subaru dealer in Georgia and continues to be the #1 volume leader in the state. Other dealers will try anything to ruin there reputation. If you find a better deal somewhere else all you have to do is take it to the dealer you want to purchase the car from: it does not have to be SoG and they will match or beat it. keep in mind that SoG is the only Subaru dealer in Georgia to invest in the Subaru community. I don't know of any other dealership, especially a Subaru dealership in Georgia that offers the type of support for the aftermarket community that SoG doe's. They have invested in an all-wheel dyno; they employ a full time performance tech. What else can you ask for! Someone may beat their price by a few hundred dollars but customer service and support should be worth something!
Ok... now I don't feel so bad... they wouldn't have matched the price I got even if I had printed the profile... whew!
CROSSeyed, I hope you understand SoG would have matched ANY price you brought to them. Keep in mind, If one dealership can do something so can another. You just have to let them know what youve gotten before and what YOU want. They arent mind readers. Inorder for SoG or anyone to please you you have to let them know what YOU want and what youve gotten before. Trust me I hear it from my husband every day just tell them the truth about what youre intentions are and they will do everything possible to earn your trust.
Umm, SOG wouldn't match the price I got from Royal and Classic, and tried to sell me a used car for $2k more than I was paying for a new one...
Now now, no need to reduce this thread to a squabble. Let's just settle on printing out your member profile and bringing it to Subaru of Gwinnette for a discount and leave it at that. Thank you again to Subaru of Gwinnette for their help and support for the WRXatlanta community.
This is what I intend to do next time.... along with this thread printed out... The other Atlanta dealers don't support the community like SoG, so only fair to see them first I think. And I've allways gotten great service from Steve and the guys.
I know where I am getting my wagon now... Plus Subaru has the GTP program. Have any of you guys gotten that in the mail yet?. Mark
GTP is a third party source and if you are looking for a reasonable price for your trade let SoG know and they will help!
