That's right, all you sorry hosers that didn't want to come to Tally for my SRDEC  OH YEAH! Last two spots filled with an Orange Lamborghini Gallardo with a Formula One exhaust (440 whp) and a new Ferrari F430. For those that don't know, that's the new 360 Modena, but it's got a 4.3 liter instead of a 3.6 liter MWAHAHAHA!!! Sorry, just had to post, too excited, SS
well so much for my birthday present, was gonna call you today and tell you i was coming, man my birthday is turninf out to be great
It's okay, don't cry, I already thought about a present for you Honestly, I'm not going to believe they're coming until they pull into the parking lot It's too close to get a deposit from them... I already PM'd Alex to tell you. I was hoping that you might be willing to come "in reserve." If they don't come, the spot is yours. If they do, you can attend all the classroom stuff and *IF* there are students I have confidence in, you could ride with them. You know I'll take care of you Give me a call, SS
Scott, I got your PM today. Alex doesnt know yet so lets not spoil the surprise It'd be neat if they show up to the track, Im eager to whoop up :keke:
I recomend every one take this school. You only thing you know how to drive, what tell you get it on the track. Its the best way to learn car control and where the limits of you car are. I cant wait to go back for a track day.
Same here John, I had a blast! Here's a quick vid Jimmi took. You will see the Gallardo and hear its crazy exhaust, as well as me behind it. http://www.liquidparadigm.net/wrx/MVI_0324.AVI
absolutely, this class is invaluable to anyone who wants to learn how to drive their car at the limit. it's also a great way to learn how to make a delightful tossed field green salad with a tangy yokahama vinnaigrette it's a good thing.
When is the next one? I have seen your website before and I'm very interested, I pick up my STi on friday.
lol... no doubt. tony you can go here for class info: www.siegelracing.com and email scott to talk about reservations: siegelracing@hotmail.com check out the instructor section.
I only went off once, did like a 200 in the inside of the U, wasnt serious at all, just a little grass fiesta in the front seats
It was greasy fat rear end sliding. I was trying to push the limit of the late apex and just came in too hot. Entirely too late to brake, so I thought just ride it out into the first 3 ft of grass...and I did
I don't know that we got any times from them. The only time that I know was Chapman in my SM ran low 1:16's... What were you running last time you were there? SS
Could I have the pictures of my car Scott? Email me if you could, that'd be great! Need them for the calendar
Lyman and I both dipped into the 68s on the 710s going CW with 35-40 deg ambients. We ran low 69s consistantly. I don't think the tires ever got warm, and I would later find they were about spent (they were trashed by lunch). In the afternoon, going CW on the MXs we ran low 71s, lyman dipped into the 70s a couple times but I feel comfortable rounding up, lol. In the afternoon with the MXs, the car was better setup and both Tom and I were starting to play/push more rather than test/tune; I think mid 70s would be all the car had. I think we could go much faster on 710s; car setup, lack of heat, and age/condition of tires probably left 1-2 seconds. Pics look great!
