I just won a Perrin up pipe off ebay for $135 total- brand new! If I would have bid 20sec later I would have got it for $91. A great deal if you ask me. may have to put it on install day if I get some gaskets. Right now my car sounds horrible with all the leaks.

Nice deal! I think I paid $179 for mine new.

I used stock Subaru gaskets, and it's been fine for 10k miles so far.

Check the price for your local scooby dealer too. No point in going with bling bling copper gaskets if you can use plain Subaru factory ones which are pretty decent. By stock ones, I didn't mean re-use the ones you have, but rather use OEM gaskets.

they aren't the copper ones, they are the 5 layer ones like oem, just cheaper. I've looked around for a good pkg and I need all of them and this is the cheapest way I've seen so far.

Hmmm ok, just seems kind of high. I think I paid like $40 for my uppipe and downpipe gaskets.

$60 for gaskets? You have to be joking me. Are you sure its not every gasket? For that price I would expect, Up, Down, AND Turbo.

If you already have UP and DP, what's the "turbo" gasket?

the two UP gaskets are about $30 together, i dont see the need for getting copper gaskets, just buy some copper gasket sealer, that stuff does wonders.

You're actually not supposed to use copper sealant with the factory gaskets. I would use it if I am re-using one for some reason, but not on a new OEM gasket.

Good question, I have no idea why I said that. I was thinking about the gasket that connects the DP to the resonator pipe and was referring to that as the DP gasket.

    :dunno:
