Just installed two gauges, have questions.

Topspeed did an excellent job installing the Defi Boost and EGT gauges. Looks very sharp.

Anyway, tell me if these values are normal:

Boost:
Up to ~14 PSI in third (I hope I was WOT, but I'll try it again to make sure)

EGT:
Idle: 800 F
Freeway: 1100 ish
Max I saw: 1500 F

That sounds about right if it was cold out because of boost creep. Yeah the EGT is normal.

Really? That's interesting. I thought it only happened with catless exhausts. Shows what I know :dunno

On a WRX? I thought it was mostly an STi issue.

 

yea i went from 17psi in 3rd to 15-16psi when the temp dropped.
