Just wondering what other people would be workin on at milos this weekend besides increasing alcohol tolerance ? I plan on installin a pair of Hella Supertones, changing my oem gauge pack and key ring to red, debadge, and hopefully clear my headlights. Cant wait to meet new people and learn more about these cars! hope there'll be a buncha helpin hands too hahaha
Ill will be bringing a caliper with a broken bolt, hopefully will be able to get it out so I can drive my L again.
I will bring my turbo timer to install. I will tighten my e-brake and fix the light in the dash that says my e-brake is on when it's not. And I would like to gut my up-pipe, but that would probably more of a head ache, since I'd have to take it out.
i wont be doin anything this time around. i dont think im gonna hard wire tmy inverter like i wanted to. im just gonna get some 0guage jumpers to run the inverter. but i will be there for moral support. oh and while im not running the air compresser ill have an xbox and tv runnin. :naughty:
my new vtek controller! matt, i had the same thing with the ebrake light, does it ever go off when your driving? if so you may wany to check your brake fluid and make sure its not low.
lol im guessin alex is the pro at this then...i ve done my civics lights so hopefully these wont be too hard. any help is definitely appreciated tho!
it's pretty easy i did mine by myself one day.....it's just kinda nerve racking knowing that your putting perfectly good headlights in an oven... hnoes:
I'm bring a bunch of jackstands to help people out. I dont think I'm going to be installing anything. Headlight baking sounds good but I just got a new headlight on my car this week . . .
I've got a gutted one for sale right now, you could buy and install it and then gut yours later and sell it to make up for the cost
I'll be bringing/installing a FPRed, new DP, injectors, 3" intake, APS DR750 kit, whiteline F&R sway bars and TEIN coilovers. Everybody ready to work? . . . (j/k) It's supposed to rain this weekend. Will we be able to relocate to a covered area? Should I bring my own tools to help out? I missed the last install day cause I couldn't wait to install my parts.
i do hear a lot of ya'll work best intoxicated. i may have to give that a try, probably wont get as frustrated and just laugh at problems.
I'm not doing anything to my car except maybe clean the inside of my lights, but i'll come out and help everyone else, turn some wrenches, and work on perfecting my beer belly. :tasty:
I will be washing the car Friday evening, so I can show up with a clean car LOL... Cant slack on that.
I would need some help installing my boost gauge, could anyone tell me what else other then the gauge and boost line I will need to install it. Ill be installing it in the air vent.
I might install some new oil in my car. It's about time for an oil change. I need to install new brakes because mine are shot. But I need to put some money in the bank and then one more payday to safely buy some brakes and still pay the bills.
I will be doing a few things, one of which I hope is drinking...inside this time. However, I want to... Install Coilovers Rebolster driver's seat with pEd Finally fix the exhaust rattle Port Wastegate? Cook some burgers & Drink some Brew :bigthumb: Oh, and I will bring my spring compressors.
did you buy that "o" clamp?...do i just need to go to Home Depot and they will know what I'm talking about?
Fixed my e-brake light. It used to go on and off, then it stayed on constantly. Then I fixed it thanks to scuby drew's advise.
I will be bringing myself and the hope that someone will take me for a spin in their STi...Alex, you want to take me up on that request? Come on, I have been waiting a while to have some more incentive to purchase a STi.
I would love to show up with a stock and watch what you guys do and hope to learn something. But this weekend is Chinese New Year and I have a few obligations on sunday that i need to prepare for. Ill try to sneak out and peep.
If that doesnt fix the brakes, it might be your brake fluid is low. Well.. thats how it was on my supra.
ill be there helping so if anyone needs any tools or anything ill bring them up with me. just ask ill probably have anything you need so post here and ill know what to bring along with my big roadside emergency :sx: kit
Yes, however, my car is too low to do both sides of the hanger. I could only do one side, which made the tapping occur at a higher frequency  Would love to, we'll talk about it on Sat. and we'll plan around installing my coilovers and doing my seat, etc.
lol lets see what i got... installing............ coil overs rear strut bar (i hope sum1 is bringing body cutting tools) oil pressure, air to fuel ratio, boost gauge rear brake pads front girll (some molding req) projector headlights i think thats about it.. :hsugh: he he
I have nothing to install at the install day I always get too anxious and install stuff the day that I get it. but I will have my air impact wrench to assist with spring swaps rebuilding my 86 crx at home, with these tasks remaining: replacing radiator, water pump, head gasket, thermostat, fan switch, clutch (spec stage2 racing), flywheel (6lb aluminum), SS brake lines, drilled/lightened rotors, carbotech panther+, lighter battery, new brake booster, new plug wires, bigger coil, put engine back in car and paint it. Got my tranny rebuilt with an LSD, so this thing will be a even better autocross machine when I am done. -- Brian
will be in CSP, but will consider jumping into SM2 after next season with an engine swap, turbo or both. From what I read, I can run race gas in my current car, and allow me to advance the timing to get more power Wouldn't be too bad since I haven't been able to get the car to have less than 30mph. Will be interesting to see how your black knight car does in SM with your meth. -- Brian
i need tires to really be competitive though... meth is good power but with the super16g, i lag a lot... so i need to keep it in power as much as i can... its getting more technical with every mod
u might wanan swap out that turbo with sumthing better.. or something that will help u control as much power u can.. sorry i dunno but thats what i think, overall i'm a turbo newbie.. lol :embarasse btw.. the gutted pipe ... i might go for it.. if u make it much cheaper & u can have my stock one :sx: i was also wanting a up pipe since if i get alex's gutted down pipe those both will be a ez'ier install.. ??? any 1 have 1 spare? will pay.. ________________________________________________________ Small Mini Sign. Will Work For UpPipe & A Beer.
I am ordering mere's 275/40-17 Kumho V710 tires soon, so she should be ready when the season starts. We are going to paint a set of Rota Slipstreams pink to use with them. Have heard good things about these tires for autocross. -- Brian
Have you guys seen anything for registering Perminent Numbers for this year yet. Need to register a number and go get magnets made up.
I registered for CSP #1 Mere is going to do AS #117, and has pink numbers: (my numbers won't be pink...) -- Brian
Brian, where did you register your permanent numbers. I went to the Joesvideo website, but didn't see anything there to register. Scott, once I selected my numbers I was gonna PM you about that. I will keep you posted. Thanks for the offer.
NEED HELP!!! I'm not going to have access to any of my tools at my parent's house; so I am offering my services on springs if someone will help me install mine afterwards. please let me know, or I'll just be installing my rockblocker fog light covers
