I might go! THe only reason @ might is becasue my clutch is slipping and I don't know If I'll afford to get it fixed by then. =\ BUT I'm seriously going to think about going, and taking my brother and friend with me.
Is this a time trial type of compeition or a full on road race? Do people have to have any prerequisite ie like an SCCA road racing license? edit: Answered my own question. So i guess this a Track day not a Road Race.
We are going to do time competitions. You won't compete directly with the racer on the track, just the clock. If the event is the success, we will definitely look at adding real competition if that is what people are interested in. Since it's just timed and open runs, no special license is required. Just be 18 with a valid drivers license. I do have some bad news, due to double scheduling by the track - we have been bumped to Saturday April 15th. This may be good news for people who have some work to be done. I apologize for this. Glad to see so much interest, we are definitely looking forward to it!!
I signed up Mere for this event. Might want to change the title to reflect the changed date. I am working on my crx that weekend, and won't be able to attend. -- Brian
Unfortunately, I have prior arrangements, and I cant attend, need to put the money elsewhere for now. Best of luck!
So do we know who is going? I don't want to be like that "1 wrx surrounded by evo's" picture. Not that I couldn't handle them... 8)
