We are looking for a WRX owner in the Atlanta market with a modified vehicle who would like to try an AEM EMS at a *very* special rate. This would include dyno tuning by our in-house, AEM factory trained EMS guru, Doug Wilks. The AEM is the premier engine management system currently available for Subaru applications. The only higher-end solution out there right now that will work on the car is a Motec, and that's not an ideal solution for a street-driven vehicle anyway due to modifications that need to be made to the sensor arrangements. If you're currently using a UTEC, all the better... we can show the significant gains that can be made by migrating to a properly implemented and safely tuned standalone engine management system. Anyone who may be interested, please contact us at 678-297-7770. Jason Porter Sales Director TopSpeed, Inc. 2130 Brandon Trail Alpharetta, GA 30004 jporter@topspeedsales.com
Porter, im pretty sure you remember me(steering rack bushing, yellow car...should give it away(also swine on nasioc). Anyways, i am very interested...but what were to happen if the engine were to blow and it would be for some reason the tuners fault(highly unlikey, but if im going to commit to something like this...i or someone would need to know these things). I cam currently Accesport stg 2 with -helix up/gp -borla hush -greddy short ram However, i have a 39 waiting to go into the car which might make things alittle more interesting for the aem? What kind of deal are we talking about for the aem? Could you shoot me a deal on some sti injectors if you guys want my car as a guiny(obviously so you can go further and tuned a vf-39'ed wrx). Hell i would by fine letting you tune my car on the stock turbo. PM or post back please and i will try and shoot you guys a ring.
I remember you! We tune very safely. If something happens to a vehicle in our care that is not a result of a pre-existing mechanical problem, then of course we are responsible for it. We are NOT a "dyno queen" shop, that will advance timing and pull fuel until it hits a number. The Supra we tuned for example hit 712rwhp with AFR in the low 11.x:1 range and conservative timing across the board. Doug has never blown a motor, and he intends to keep it that way. He makes elegant maps that work perfectly and make a whole lot of safe power and that's why the folks at AEM are such fans of his work. The VF39 sounds interesting!
Can i stop by Saturday, anyone going to be there? I not saying im commiting entirely...just want to get alittle more info.
