There was a green 98 RS for sale on IA recently, it's an automatic though.

I was totally going to recommend an MR2 just from the title, then I saw you already are considering it.

While I (my Dad actually) has an MR2 for sale right now, I am not sure it is the ideal daily driver. Small car, little to no trunk space, kind of poor visibility from within the vehicle. But if those things don't bother you the, the MR2 will bring a huge grin to your face when you drive it! Also, the MR2 is still one of the hottest looking cars out there, and the stock sound system is pretty friggin decent...If I was buying a daily driver right now, I would be looking for a nicely maintained Infiniti g20....

Edited for link to my Dad's car....price is negotiable!

there are two chains of thought
buy a fun(mr2 genII) $5k lower priced car and keep the 9-2x as weekender or get a G35 or IS300 ($15+K) and swap the saabaru when it gets tired.

    what do you guys think

can someone please post link of cars that you see or recommend

    thanks again

Knowing why you want a daily driver would help. Why wouldn't you drive the 9-2X? Gas mileage issues?

Like to keep all my cars in mint
and the cars around me is kinda questionable - not well maintained and area i work is very dusty. My engine bay looks like crap now and i drive about 40 miles daily. Drivers here is scary its worst then 285. everyone on cell phones and wandering all over the place

so yes i like to keep my saabaru like all my other cars 12+ years.

    1. keeping it mint - door dings and dusty
    2. distance - milleage and tear and wear
    3. upkeep

but then again its a rally car so i assume dust is good :naughty: , And maybe in 6+ years i started building a new engine and slap it on there.

thats is too nice a car to be daily driver
Actually im looking for a non heavily mod NA
In fact no mods will be perfect

    thanks for the input

another sub that i can start moving my stock parts too would be nice. but a breadbox :naughty: and same gas milleage may not get many pts

Why don't you just drive yourself around man?....

    sorry.

The CRX or MR2 would be lots of fun. In a not so fast way of course.

I'd say a CRX they last, they are fuel friendly, and they are really easy to work on.

Why not drive your Saabaru? I bought my WRX wagon cause it's practical and fun to drive, puts a smile on my face most every commute. I think it's a good looking car and all but certainly not a museum piece. Maybe get a W/E car that might appreciate in value, IMO that would make sense.
