Anybody going to this? Rhys got a brand new Soltice! It should make for a sweet race. I lost my voice last year it was so much fun. If you can only make it for one day, I would suggest Saturday over Friday since Saturday night has the tandem drift. :naughty:

Cool, yeah, I will probably go. Do you know how much tickets cost, or is free?

$25 for both days, and like $20 for just one day. Its worth it though. If you go all day they have events earlier. Last year they had the Panoz GT race and Spec Miata. Bring some shade and a cooler of beer.

    I'm totally into the idea.

All I need is somebody to get up with and I'll be all over it. Hell I'll even buy the person lunch on the way up there or whatever.

    Let's do this :leroyjenkins:

    Drifting > Joo!

JK. I can't say it's my favorite SCCA SANCTIONED motorsport but it definitely looks like a lot of fun. And if it takes a few sales away from NASCAR then it's even better. I wanna go cause it's something I haven't done yet, but also to maybe make a few more friends n' stuff.

Boo! I would think if the sons of two world class rally drivers think it should be a professional motorsport than it is (Rhys Millen and Ken Gushi). Besides not any yin yang can get out there and do tandem drift less than a foot away from another car.

I will be there in my black bugeye. We will probably be camping on the opposite side of the horseshoe (if they let us). Basically right at the beginning of the braking zone for the chiquene at the end of the long straight away. That seemed to be a great spot last year. It didn't get overly crowded and there was a great view of everything. Closer to the horseshoe will be swamped with people, but its probably the best viewing spot.
