Tremclad = Rustoleum. They sell it under the Tremclad name in Canada.

As a matter of fact, I just did. Considering Sunburst Yellow for the beater. ;) (It is BRIGHT yellow.)

Make sure you read the entire thread there before even considering this though, there's lots of information and gotchas.

Also, with no clearcoat, this won't give the 'wet' mirror gloss of newer cars; it'll look more like a nice 60s/70s type paint job. More of a warm shine.

Funny. It's going to cost $1,058.00 to get my door fixed. They're getting a whole new door and painting it and doin some blending FTW.

Good thing it's not me paying for it. :D

With this stuff you don't even need to strip or primer. :)

Pretty much. Plastic, small animals, children, glass, wood...

Of course, if you have big rust holes you might want to address that. But surface rust, sand it smooth and rock'n'roll. :)

It'll cost you about $15 to give it a go. Head over to HD and pick up a can of glossy white or whatever you want, some mineral spirits, sand paper and a high density foam roller.
