The only place I know of is Pirate's Golf in duluth, next to Gwinnett Place Mall. Where are the other places at? And I couldn't say what day is good for me yet, but I will in a few days.
Oh, I just remembered there is one in Gainesville, but I have never been to it. It's very easy to miss since it's in the woods.
i went to a cool one right off of I-85 on the right side. you can pretty much see it from the freeway. had the go carts for the kiddies, and even race cars that were faster. of course the put put stuff too. forgot the dang name of it.
Shane, that is called the Malabu (sp?) Grand Prix. I totally forget about that one. When I think of that place, golf/putt-putt is the last thing that comes to mind. They have two types of go-karts, a batting range, and an okay arcade. I keep forgetting they have putt putt as well. Their gokart track for lisence holders is pretty fun. I've tried a few laps of it and it's tough. If you get 54 (or was it 52?) seconds or better 3 times in a row with a manager present, you get to sign up for free in the better club or something and get to use the faster go kart. My best time was 57 seconds. Fun little things!
If you guys can think of a really cool place to play putt-putt, we will meet there, OK?. I will then firm up a date. Mark
So...you all don't want putt-putt?. I would be down for Malibu Grand Prix too...Let's firm this up....LOL... Mark
Hey Kevin, Good to hear from you. I love golf, I am just not really that good at it. I used to play all the time when I was in the Air Force, on base. I will go ahead and finalize this g2g for Saturday June 10th @ 1:00 pm at Malibu Grand Prix. How does that sound to everyone?. See you all there!!!. Mark I went ahead and added ur details to ur first post. Just makes it easy for people to get details rather than scrolling through all the posts. :wiggle:
OK Everyone: If you are interested in coming to this g2g, please post up. It will be at Malibu Grand Prix on 6/10 @ 1:00 pm or whenever you can arrive. Directions are in earlier post. This should be a blast!!. Mark
Andrettis is awesome. I used to have a friend that worked there, she could get us half off and stuff. But now, she doesn't work there and it's so damn expensive .
This will be at Malibu Grand Prix, and they have cool go-carts....Check out www.malibugrandprix.com!!!. It will be cool... Mark
I should be there! I'll let you know for sure by Tuesday. edit: Additional info: Also it's a good thing we are there before 5pm. Because the Grand Prix laps have a special before 5pm. 10 laps for 12 dolalrs when normally you get only 5 laps for 12.50. So not only will I do some putt putt, but I'm going to do their Grand Prix track as well. Really fun and hard. Soon as you are done with one corner you have no time to set yourself up for the next so yeah, it's tough. Average times are 57 seconds they told me. We should do a time attack while we are there.
Ah for some reason I thought it was tomorrow on the second. It dons't look like I can make it on Saturday the 10th. Have fun though!
