Swapping out the RE 92's and Stock Rims on 3/9!!.

Front and Rear Sway bars now...

I just had my rear sway bar installed a few weeks ago, thanks to PeD. I should be getting springs and a strut tower very soon and I will post pics to show the lowering, then on to performance mods. I will more than likely get tires and wheels at about the 20000 mile mark. Window Tinting is going on soon too, thanks to Milo for the giving me a great place to deal with!!.

Debadging Subaru emblem on front grill and blackening tail-lights.

I was just going to ask you all if you think it would look cool to debadge the Subie emblem on my front grill and blacken my tail-lights?. I wanted to get some honest feedback on this....Thanks, Mark:sx:

debadge definately...personally i've never been a fan of blacken tail lights. but it could look sweet though. i'd have to see it first. good luck w/ it Mark!

 

I'd definately debadge the car, I think badging is pretty tacky. If I had a black car I'd black out the taillights but on an otherwise stock looking car I think the taillights might be overkill.

It's your car Mark, do what you think looks good and you'll be happy.

I like the badge and don't like blacked out lights. But that's just because I don't see any use for it and don't spend too much time worrying about looking gangsta or whatever.

Show me a professional racecar that's been tinted and debadged.

I JDM'ed my headlights by opening the housing and removing the orange. I think I am gonna reopen mine again and paint the inside black. Think that'll look good on my white/gold? The only thing is that the gunmetal it is now from the factory matches my intercooler.

Turn the oven on 180 ish. It'll take longer but constantly watch them.

Whatever floats your boat Mark. I prefer the stock (ie body-colored) scoop but I guess CF isn't for everyone. Your car is still the ish though. Enjoy Hawaii you lucky son-of-a-gun.

 

If you do, get a monster TMIC to feed with it!

 

Any good tuners on the Islands? Unfortunately, he will not have the luxury of a drive to say CA for a tune from a decent shop. He could do AP with off the shelf maps, much more benefit than the Carbon Scoop, but at the same point, he might want to get out there and see how friendly the dealships are there before doing anything that could cause a problem (unlikely) down the road.
