I have found a Greddy lip for a good price and i was wondering what ya'll thought of them on a bugeye. I also have cwest sideskirts and a griffon rear apron.

my other option is to save up more money and try to find a STi V2 lip...

anyway, here is a pic of my car that was taken before i raised it up some.

Man you need a lip, the car looks lopsided with skirts and a rear apron and no front lip.

I like the Greddy but I'd rather buy a knockoff so that WHEN it breaks it wont cost an arm and a leg to replace.

ahter thinking about it, i think that the greddy lip for the 02 is not really what i am looking for. i know the car is lopsided and it needs a lip of some kind,
i have been trying to figure out lip options since i have had the car.
i really like the look of the sti v2 lip, but the price tag of it has been holding me back. so, if anyone knows of someone that makes a knockoff of one, that would be cool.

i have thought about the widebody kit. at one point i was considering the WRC clone look minus the decals, then i started looking at prices on everything....unless i win the lottery, that won't be happening.

I'm a big fan of the v1 sti lip, but I'm not sure it would complement the side skirts as well as a more (for lack of better words) aftermarket lip. I'd say go greddy or even kaminari, that is if you're not worried about scraping.

    Kaminari:

Greddy(for those that don't know what it looks like):

EDIT: after posting I decided that I like the kaminari far more. In fact I really don't care for the greddy much at all. I'd say go with oem, sti, or kaminari, but then that's just me living vicariously through someone who actually has money to spend on a body kit.

Hmmm, maybe that's why it looked funny to me.

That's a little too busy for my taste, but then again, I'm not the one buying a lip.

I like the Greddy because it doesn't make the smiley face that some lips do, you know the upwards curve on the end of the lip that makes the wrx smile. I am going with the Greddy because I can't afford the Liberal as no one makes a replica yet :(
Liberal would be my first choice though
