YOU KNOW YOU'RE A WRX OWNER WHEN...

You look forward to bad weather.

You want to race anything and everything...off the line.

You think you can out-launch a Navy fighter off a carrier deck

You have a poster of Peter Solberg hanging in your room

You know the difference between "boxster" and "boxer"

You have done the 'upgrade to STi' financial calculation a million times

You're disgusted at every other car manufacturer that adds non-functional scoops to their cars.

Every person you meet that doesn't own a wrx, asks if you have an STi when you tell them you have a wrx.

You stare down your shifter for a good 30 seconds before attempting to go into reverse...and end up grinding anyway.

You drive a wagon, and your friends actually think its cool.

You go to sleep thinking about your next mod.

You will never buy another car without a turbo or AWD again.

You can spot a hoodscoop 500 feet away.

You drive thru your friends' front lawns before driving up their rock covered driveways

You hate to turn on the a/c and defroster.

You've spanked numerous ricers with a couch hanging out of the back of your "4 door hatchback"

You have a local car meet everytime it snows

    You have a favorite on-ramp

You think of silly things to put in the forums whilst you drive.

You dont dread going to work cause you get to drive your rex there.

When you buy a wrx instead of an STi to save money and then spend 5 grand on parts.

When you think there's something wrong with your car, you refer to web forums before taking it to the mechanic/dealer.

You drive around with no music just so you can hear the turbo.

You get all googily eyed when you see another rex, even though you have your own.

When you eat at a fast food restaurant you sit by a window so you can see your car.

...You've wondered how you survived without one.

Haha they're so freakin true :). Except i'm except from a couple since i do own an STi ;). I totally feel the bad weahter thing haha. And the no music.

Me - "Turn the music down, I can't hear my engine" :)
^ - isn't really a problem any more since my new exhaust and DP is loud as HELL :D

Those are great. I've gotta agree with all of the wagon specific ones, its very true.

    You forgot:

Your friends start telling you about every WRX they see on the road, down to the visible mods.

Funny stuff... I spent $6000 "saving money buying a wrx instead of an STi", I always sit next to a window in restaurants to look at my car(I also park as far away as possible at malls/grocery stores to park by myself), and I can definetely spot another wrx'er from huge distances and allways oogle them even though I have most of the same mods....

Haha, I've heard a few similar stories from people. I'm not trying to mess with you or anything, just sincerely wondering, isn't it a pain in the ass to capitolize the first letter in every word?

I do the Window thing, and I park as close to the Smoking area at work so when I go out on my 15 minute smoke breaks, I can gawk at my car.

i was about to park my car at a restaurant and drove by four 20 somethin year olds... one of them shouted out 'ur car sounds like a truck'... i wasnt sure if it was a compliment or an insult... so i held my middle finger outa the window... felt like a bad ass when i did that... then i realized that i gotta leave my car in the lot and go inside the restaurant... luckily nothing happened but it was a bad move in hindsight

I can relate to the "looks forward to rainy days" comment.

My first test drive of a WRX was when it was raining, and it was a pure blast to drive.

Fixed. And he should be able to....it is an STi. Mine will pop and a colorless blue spurt will come out but my buddy Zach with the STi will literally throw a 3 ft flame out.
