Just thought I would post this over here. Its already going on a few message boards. What do you guys think? I would consider it if it was implemented well (i.e. light weight, rear wheel bias, etc.). Hatchback Impreza for 07?
i think i just threw up in my mouth looks like im buying an 05 or building my own later on, that thing blows
i dig it..it does look way to much like a peugeot but id pimp it..lightweight hatch with a 300hp motor and awd sounds like a fun ride to me:bigthumb:
yea that thing is awful, i think ive seen it on other boards, and several people seem to think its bs, as i hope it is looks like someone sat down with pictures of a focus, peugeot, and an honda civic si, and and came up with this horrid thing
Renault Clio V6...Interior was much nicer than WRX/STI, but its about as quick as the WRX. Still probably alot more fun at the track due to weight. Article
I don't dislike cars like that. I just don't like when Subaru tries to make a car that doesn't fit with their scheme. If they make a hatchback, then soon that will take the Impreza's spot in WRC and that would suck. I love the Impreza Rally cars and don't want to see them go away.
i like fast hatchbacks but i think the impreza needs to stay only sedan/coupe in the future,(i want to see a 2 door STI. does anyone know if its true they are putting the 2.5 in the WRX next year??
All indications are that they will, its come from multiple reliable sources. Remember, the impreza was a coupe for a long time. Its just recently that the impreza has been four door only...
And for those bagging on the focus, this was one my previous cars....Had it had the recaro seats and been RWD or AWD I would have kept it...
A FWD Porsche would suck the azz. Seriously though, the SVT focus was a fun little car, and it had a suprisingly nice interior. I would dare to say it was a little more fun in daily driving as it was more tossable, though with much less power. The FWD and the seats really sank the car though. I am not saying it was a better drivers car, just more fun tooling around town in Atlanta traffic. Mountain run or any type of performance driving for that matter, the REX wins hands down...
