it's losing syncros in 2nd 3rd and won't hold up to to too much more. I'm leaning toward the 6 spd and rear end. I sourced a jdm sti 4.44 from jhot imports that looks like a good fit. Putting in the rear end will allow for a full sti suspension (currently only the front will bolt up), then will go the brakes and abs delete. Also on the list will be a new turbo (ive only got the factory vf11 on there now) fuel injectors and I don't know yet if I'll go with a standalone or chip or one of the many hacs in between. This is my first turbo awd car so it's all been a learning process. Anyway, sorry for chewing ur ear off. I can't wait to check out ur wagon sometime. I have yet to ride in a properly built subie! When I get my fuel pump in you'll have to take the leacy out for a spin, you can't beat that vintage feel. It looks like crap but that works in my favor most of the time!
Hey man, this is the guy you spoke with at RT last night. I just wanted to introduce myself. I've got a 92 turbo Legacy sedan. I bought it from a GA Tech student 4 years ago. I sold my 99 Neon RT with a 2.4 swap NA build to buy the Subie. It has the coveted 2.2 closed deck. It came with 211k on the dial and a lates 90's sti tbe bolted on. The pipe was never extended to the muffler and I liked it so much that I never finished it. Still have to extend it though. I've put in a stage 1 wrx clutch kit, mbc set at 12psi ( fuel cut is set at 14 lbs), removed all the intake restrictions and opened up the box at the wheel well and added a K&N pannel, magnecore 8.5 wire and a few other odds and ends. I'll have a Walbro 255 in by the weekend and then it's decision time. I'm planning on a 350 hp build for now so I'll have to replace the stock trannie,
