SHould an o2 sensor(wideband) be place pre or post turbo ?

If the car does not an aftermarket o2 sensor bung how does a tuner perform a protune ?

    post-turbo.

Several dp's have a wideband bung from the factory (Helix, Cobb)
For other's you'll have to have one welded in, or the wideband will
be hooked up at the end of your exhaust coming out your muffler

    ^^^ ok thanks
if tuning with no o2 bung would it not be very accurate to tune using the muffler path, potential customer may have a stock cat in the path. or does it not matter.

What if o2 is placed pre turbo ?

I'm sure the accuracy will go down, being that far down the path, but I'm not sure it'd be too bad for tuning reasons.

Not real sure where you'd place it pre-turbo (uppipe??), and not sure it'd be a good place to get that reading.

Yes UP i was thinking because
The EGT from stock will be removed and there is a plug in some ready for a sensor.

it would be very difficult to connect it anywhere pre-turbo... the uppipe is virtually inaccessible

agree - its hard to get to
but if i were to put in a wideband EGT during my install

Yeah, but the EGT bung is a lot smaller than O2 bung. Just put it after the turbo and make life easier on yourself. :)

yes but my DP does not have a hole for it
CAn i use the Stock O2 sensor location and then somehow trick the stock O2 into thinking its still there and all is fine

i like having the AFR readings from the stock sensors... agreed it isnt wideband but if it goes over 11.0 at WOT, then i know something is wrong
