ok..i bought a center diff out of an 06 sti and was told it would work..found out that it wont work..or at least without some kind of modification..anybody know if the 05 and 06 transmissions are interchangeable..and does anyone have an 04 or 05 center diff that they could part with?i would really appreciate it..i'm very desperate for one at this point..
Diffs are grouped as follows 04/05 interchangeable 06 is for 06 only 07 'may swap with 06 but I'm not sure' The 06 and the 07 have stepper gears to mate with the 3.545 rear diff which is why the 06/07 tranny is a popular swap for the 02-05 wrx owners.
