Alright guys i am sure there's plenty of threads about this replacement but i just wanna hear it from locally members...since most of you guys are straight forward..

Im going to replace my Valve cover gasket on the passenger side since its leaking...would it be the best interest on replacing the driver side as well (Its not leaking) since i am already doing the passenger side? Or should i not even touch the driver side?

    Also I know i need

    Valve cover gasket
    spark plug washers or something

what else would i need to perform this job?

Since you have to drain the oil anyways, I'd do them both at once. I'd drain it, pull both covers and let it sit for a while, wipe surfaces clean and reinstall. Be mindful to inspect/replace the half moon seals on the back of the heads as these are very brittle. I'd replace them while I was in there, they're $3 each. You can rtv them in place, super simple. Look up the torque numbers/order for the valve cover bolts too.

    Good luck

you'll need the grommets and spark plug gasket as well. While your at the dealer ordering parts, go ahead and get the PCV assembly too.

Next is remove the black plastic baffles from the valve covers and clean with about a can of brake cleaner each then blow out with compressed air. You might be building up crankcase pressure from trash built up in the baffles and PCV and the extra pressure is blowing by the 9+ year old valve cover gasket.
