06 lower dash button?

    What would this switch cutout (red arrow) be used for in the 06 wrx/sti? The 05 use it for the light level adjustment since the pic is a 05 sti. I want to relocate my hazard button there so I can use the center air vent for something else.

    i think its still the same but they changed the twist style button to a roller style like on the active diff controler.

    yeah, but the roller is right next to the I/C sprayer button in the middle. This cut out is just covered with a black cover.

    yep your right. i dont know then, but they probably dont want to make a new dash just to get rid of the hole if its not in use anymore.

    yeah, that's what i thought, i was hoping that they have a button for something so I can use it and connect it to the hazards. I guess it's time to do a little dyi to make it work.

    It could just be a blank. My '05 STi had one blank which I used for my radar detector remote. The other, if I remember correctly is setup for foglights.

    Not that this matters, but that picture is either an '04 or an '05 with a steering wheel swap.
