Does anyone know how to turn off seat belt warning noise? I tried the plug unplug 20 times in less than 30 seconds but noise happens next time I start car.I have an 06 wrx...
That worked for me :/ try doing it faster and more times? lol it was easier for me when i wasnt sitting in the seat, i was kneeling on the floor outside of the car.
I saw a huge write-up on IWSTI.com yesterday... I looks like a real PITA. It involves taking parts of the dash off, removing harnesses... not something I'd want to do myself. It is really annoying though so if you figure out an easier way to do it post it up!
Yeah thats what I was thinking. The only time it bothers me is when I am moving my car in my driveway or putting the car on ramps to do something.
it's annoying when im just sitting in my car warming up or waiting for someone. but yea, i didn't have to do anything except buckle/unbuckle that thing really fast.
Yeah it mostly bothers my wife when she is waiting in the car or when i am sitting in it and do not feel like putting on the belt. I do not usually drive without the belt on.I will try the faster- more theory.
I(nor my passengers) never drive w/out my seatbelt except to drive the trash to the dumpster, or going somewhere in my complex(pool, carwash..). But to answer the question.. yes! it is that annoying. What is the trick with the plug/unplug real fast for 30 secs??? Does it turn the alarm off forever?
i think that we should have a G2G over this and video everyone clicking and unclicking seatbelts really fast. I would laugh my ass off.
