I have 1 stripped bolt on the driver side rear rotor and wondered if that is an easy fix or not? I can get 4 of the 5 nuts on the wheel, but the last one just refuses to go on. I checked the bolt carefully and the intial 2 threads on the bolt are stripped.

Usually you can get a die and clean up the threads. I forget what the thread pitch is though.

You could take a lug nut to ACE and find a bolt that threads into the lug nut. Then you'll know what the thread pitch so you can buy your die.

    hey,
i concur the thread pitch is indeed m12x1.25
if it is a lug nut that is stripped, you can replace the nut, but if the stud is stripped you will have to do that as well, but its not a really big deal. you can pick one up anywhere and they usually just knock/pull in with the nut tension.

I have both tap and die for M12x1.25 for my short shifters so if you let me know when you are in Gwinnett ill have it in my car and i can chase the thread for you. If you send me the part i can do that as well - you pay shipping both ways, my few minutes to do that is free
