http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1361160 I was pretty amazed...06 WRX with a Blouche Dominator, FMIC 50/50 meth and peak torque is by 4300 rpm! Looks like a very decent set up.
DAMN! Keeps 400 whp all the way to redline. Must feel like a beast. Now to see how long the engine and tranny hold up.
Well the tranny is PPG straight cut, I'm sure that'll hold up just fine. The engine with stock stuff might be of concern. Well that car is the same year and color as mine. I'll just dream that's my car since I won't ever be able to do that setup.
Yeah that is what impressed me too...holding straight to redline. Seems like there was something restricting it or it probably would have climbed higher. My guess would be either the cams or some exhaust restriction. I would guess though that with meth and only 23 psi the engine should hold pretty well.
Why won't it hold? It's a freaking EJ255. They are identical to the EJ257 except higher compression and slightly different pistons according to WJM.
I think at that level it should be just fine. The tune is fairly conservative since he is running meth/water. Now if he loses the meth and does not notice right away that there has been a malfunction...
