    Hey hey!

We hung out at the MVP track day and we had a blast. Despite the rain on Sunday there was still a great turnout. Here's a quick video of Scott and Sharif playing around on the track during the Saturday session. Enjoy!

man that GTR walked the STI. Who's car was Scott driving? I like the data over the video. He hit those curbs hard!

Haha ... The GTR is pretty quick, eh?

Scott's driving a friend/customer car. It's a STI swapped Impreza. I'll try and dig a picture of it up. It's wrapped in blue vinyl w/ crazy graphics all over it.

If Scott turned up the boost, I bet it would have been an even drag race. :) The GT-R had more power, but the Subaru has less weight. I will give equal skill level to the drivers. :sx:

The fun thing, is that the traffic allowed Scott to catch up, so we could do it again...and again...and again. :)

Is that Mr. Haig's Impreza? Your GTR is moving. Good job!

Campbell wanted to stay at 18 psi until he knew the track, I really should have turned it up while chasing Sharif though.

We have pretty stiff springs on the KW V3's and really need to switch to the RCE T2's... We've got the rebound maxed out and need some more ;)

saw the video .. brought back cringes... used to do track days there on sportbikes.. last time they had the 'bus stop' but prior to that they had the gravity cavity..

you scoot down the long back straight as fast as you can go, the hold the throttle as you descend into the hole, and drop down about 10 gears before you lean right under nissan bridge and try to stay out of the red dirt on the left.

i never had the guts to hold it down through the cavity. i always let off and just coasted down and then geared down and under the bridge.

watching that video reminded how crazy that track is.. instructors would always tell the new folks to ride around once or twice and get the lay of the elevations and such. always was one squid would run wide left on the turn one going up the hill, lay it down and have to sit the rest of the day out.. rules was you went down your were done.. then sometime they used to run out of ambulances and shut the track down until one returned...

    saw the bmw spin out.

    anyone wreck their car?

Some offs here and there including a driver (AHEM!) who shall remain unmentioned :dunno but only one accident in the last 10 minutes of the last session of the day when a BMW slid into the wall in turn 7 in the rain. Thankfully the driver was OK. Cars can be repaired.

Thanks to everyone who joined us.
