Those are all just photoshopped pics. I dont really like it. Supposedly the big wide grills are supposed to look like aircraft wings from back when Subaru created japanese planes.
That Alfa (?? maybe) looks pretty slick. I didnt even notice the dual tailpipes until you mentioned it but I dont like them either.
I don't like any of those myself, kind've cheap lookin....not liken the grill and as Mike said the back looks like ass... Hopefully these are just prototypes or else I might have to buy a used 05' STI when I get the dough...
The styling is actually a return to the vintage Subaru styling. This is something most people dont realize, hence all the comparison to the Alpha. I thought the same till I was corrected. I looked a pictures, dug up som ehistory, and its true. Of course, it also follows audi's implementation of styling into their cars -- another return to previous styles. Its all cyclical :bigthumb:
Subaru recenrly hired the lead designer from alfa to head up subaru. In the sti pick its not to bad but the th new b9 thing is the apitomy of alfa design. For me that is not a good thing. I will stick with 02-05
I'll hold on to my odd bugeyes. Odd beats ugly in my book. As for the Alfa/Edsel look.. It only works for Alfa's. Just ask Ford.
