I took my 04 Legacy N/A down to commerce last night with a bunch of other guys from my shop. I ran average of 16.4 1/4 mile with a 81 mph trap time. I also launched with a .003 and .06 reaction time. I was pretty happy with the car being what it is and my first time at the track. I dont really plan for it to be a 1/4 mile car but work more on the suspension for road atlanta and autox stuff. Watching and talking to some of the other first time drivers with STi's out there they said they were having trouble launching cause it would hop around on them. The first time i launched it rode out the clutch did ok but slow and the second time i dumped it which also made my car hope but it felt like it was going to stall out..the RPM's fell so low i had to get back on the clutch....Well that was my night..I had fun
Sounds like you had fun... I need to get down there soon and get some Stage 1 times before I go stage 2... G2G anyone?
