http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=2331682&page=0&fpart=1&vc=1 Very impressive for the money. Now, if only I had a beater to abuse like this... :naughty:
nice! I painted my crx in my garage the other day, flat black with spray cans, probably $30 of paint Going for the ghetto look. -- Brian
nah, will have 2 in the garage and 2 in the driveway soon, as soon as I get rid of the red crx. the black crx project is done. -- Brian
As a matter of fact, I just did. Considering Sunburst Yellow for the beater. (It is BRIGHT yellow.) Make sure you read the entire thread there before even considering this though, there's lots of information and gotchas. Also, with no clearcoat, this won't give the 'wet' mirror gloss of newer cars; it'll look more like a nice 60s/70s type paint job. More of a warm shine.
Funny. It's going to cost $1,058.00 to get my door fixed. They're getting a whole new door and painting it and doin some blending FTW. Good thing it's not me paying for it.
I need some help getting some rust down to metal and then primering it and maybe using spray paint lol temporary
I have a buddy trying this whole deal out on his car right now. I'll let everyone know how it comes out.
Pretty much. Plastic, small animals, children, glass, wood... Of course, if you have big rust holes you might want to address that. But surface rust, sand it smooth and rock'n'roll.
that's what I wanted to know damn I might just do this anyone up for a paint day? stuff looks good right? and they have a pearl white? or something nice? I kinda want to fill in the weather strip gap and make it smooth, that might be a bitch
It'll cost you about $15 to give it a go. Head over to HD and pick up a can of glossy white or whatever you want, some mineral spirits, sand paper and a high density foam roller.
