Prolly old news to many on here, but June 12th Sony is offering a bundle pack with an 80gb PS3 and Metal Gear Solid 4 for $499. If this can actually be had for that price it will be mine... I was just going to get the 40gb, but I know for sure I'd buy MGS4 anyways which would put me at $460.. this way I pay an extra $40 and get double the harddrive and backwards compatibility(for most games I've heard).... anyone have more info on this? 90 min cut scenes? wtf?! That's a friggin movie. Are you sure its not 90 minutes worth of cut scenes?
Not caring... loved every part of that series so far... More concerned if this deal will even be at all possible with both that low price and availiblility....
Well, just pulled the trigger!!! Went and got the 80gb/MGS4 combo at lunch at Fry's... It was a tough decision because Walmart is offering a $100 giftcard when you purchased the 40gb PS3... basically giving you the unit and a game and a 1/2 or game+extra controller for $399. I was leaning towards that route until I called around and found the PS3's sold out at every Walmart in my area(4 of them). I pretty much got lucky at Fry's, I got the last 80gb combo they had and they just came out today. Now I gotta deal with playing the PS3 and watching Blueray goodness on a 12 year old Sony tube... Something tells me the flatpanel is not far behind..........
just picked up my copy. bestbuy had like 12 of them i dont shop at jewstop. preordering games is stupid
^^^ Yeah, Fry's had stacks of MGS4... no shortages there.. It was the console that was hard to find... Can't wait to play tonight...
