I remember seeing that one a while ago but then the website quit being hosted, I guess somebody else put it up.

Its really not hard at all, I'd say its easier than installing a CD player, just has a lot more steps. Did you get any deletes yet?

Here is some more info regarding more equipment to buy from Home Depot:

In Addition to Wagon Roof Rail Removal Mod
In the instructions the part listed to plug up the holes left in the roof is called an "expansion plug". What you acutally need is called an "expansion nut". big difference.

they still sell them at home depot, in the specialty nuts/bolts drawers in the hardware/fasteners department.

for me, they were in drawer 45, bin K. this may vary from store to store, though.

    More Info also:

    The size is: #8-32 x 15/32. You will also need 8 screws: #8-32 x 1 inch.

I believe there's some special instructions regarding drilling/dremelling out the holes to fit the plugs if you're going that route vs a direct swap with a 9-2x.

I had to use silicone sealant for my Saab blocking plates. Vaseline might make the expansion nuts go into the holes easier.
