Well, after saying 'hi' in the introducing thread months ago, and having to miss several tuesday meets due to my late work schedule, I felt I should visually introduce the car :)
I wander about the alpharetta area, usually at the autozone off of hwy9 by windward pkwy on weekends getting the usual stuff.

06 CGM STI, Rota dpt's 18x8.5, on cobb springs (RCE tarmac 2's hopefully on my door step by the end of the week).

  4. We saw two Subies up there at the Autozone the other day. I remember one was flat black and the other may have been yours. Can't remember exactly. :wavey:

Yup, that was definitely me, picking up some oil for the dd. The flat black one belongs to a manager there.

Nice car. Silver subies are just sweet. I was thinking about getting my wheels done black. After seeing them on a silver car, that is definitely the plan now!

thanks! yah, having that contrast seems to work out with the black wheels, technically mine are gun metal. Another plus is it hides a fair bit of the brake dust from the hawk pads :)

Cool, and we just hooked up with a good local powder coater :ddirty: He is about to start ceramic coating as well. He has about 5 different ceramics he is testing to see which holds up the best. Time to talk to him about powder coating these wheels!
