Accessport different for Auto and Manual Tranny?

Just like the title says, are there different AP's for the different trannys of the same model year?

 

I don't think so.. its not specified on their website, I'm assuming it would be if there was a difference...

 

I'd think the maps would be the main difference, not the actual unit. There's only one extra wire on the ECU that runs to the TCU and if you cut it the ECU will load up identical to an MT ECU.

 

Nah, no differences in the maps. After alot of looking, I couldn't find anything to indicate a difference other than ECU identifier codes which wasn't an issue for the 2004 AP as it only works for one model year...
