Additional Front Suspension Drop

Hey guys - I just recently installed a set of Cruicial springs on my WRX, and while I'm happy with them overall, the front of the car still sits higher than the rear. I thought that I read somewhere that there are other strut hats available that will lower the front end even more, but without a loss in spring travel.

Anyone care to point me in the right direction?

Don't get me wrong; the car isn't raked to the rear or anything, but the front could definitely come down a bit more.

    Any suggestions?

My Eibach's are the same way. I have never heard of the different struts hats helping out, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. How long have the springs been on? If they have been on only for a short time, let the springs settle a little bit also. You may get a little more drop in the front due to the extra weight.

You can get the RaceComp lowered camber plates. I think they drop the front of the car an extra half an inch, works well on wagons running sedan springs to level the car out also.

Nice! Just be ready to wait 2 months to get them. RCE stuff has blown up the market and takes forever to get.

I guess the RaceComp plates were what I read about - never saw that price, though. $400.00! I think I'll see if the springs settle a bit before I drop that kind of money for 3/8 of an inch. >.<

The Racecomp Plates are really nice, Mrs. Slowwrx has them on here Limited.

I belive that SOG is a Racecomp dealer so you might want to hit up Scott, or atleast mention Scott and Me and the One Lap car when you call, they are one of our sponsors and I am sure they would like to know that their advertising dollars are going to good use.

Does rideheight affect the balance of the car?...

Yes, but if the ride height is the same from side to side its not a big deal. You also have to remember that the weight of your car isn't symmetrical. Like your passenger side could be slightly heavier due to extra exhaust piping. Lowering the car on a corner will increase the load that that tire carries, and visa versa for heightening.
