Remove the front sub frame. Its the only way to do it really.

Remove plastic front peace then subframe brace(big C shaped thing with 10 bolts in it) then metal cover then mount and endlinks! Hope this helps!

You can do it with out taking out the subframe... but its a pita

its not hard to take out the subframe i did it in about 10 min or so this morning it takes that at the very minimum to wiggle the swaybar out(with out taking the subframe off)

    good luck

just be sure the car does not shift and the subframe doesn't go back so easy. talk about PITA :)
Other than that it's really not that bad.

    PEd helped me out twice
2 jackstands front of car and chock the rear wheels
Remove under cover pan 5 bolts 4pushlocks
remove the subframe by loosening all of the bolts first (mark them they are dif lengths and sizes)
do not remove the rear most ones because they will hold the subframe so it wont drop off and then start removing the bolts from rear ro front and after the last ones you can just slide the sf out

after the second time i went out and got me a new toy - impact wrench

for the most part you can do it without dropping the sub-frame.
that being said, dropping the sub-frame makes it a lot easier.

Oh and don't forget that you may have to use an allen head key to get the nut off.

My 04 was a PITA. Could not find a wrench that would get in that space.

My 06 has much much much more room between the sub-frame and the bolts and nuts. I think I could change the one on my 06 by just jacking up the car and taking one wheel off.

it seems like a lot of work but you should try both ways but i think you will find removing the subframe fairly easy
