It is amazing how paranoid they were. I guess it is not offen that a plane crosses into the No Fly Zone though.
they weren't paranoid. They let him get 3 miles out. That plane couldn't been going much faster than 100mph and they knew that on radar. That gave them time to take the least dangerous course, which was analysis, communication, then evacuation and interception...as opposed to shooting it down. good job by everyone.... except the local pd who took an hour to catch up to the 'all clear'
