my right front tire was wearing just on the outside, so i took it to Butler's on buford hwy. they showed me a before and after print out, blah blah, but my car is still pulling to the right..so i took it to the shop today, and they wont look at it again because they think the tire is causing the problem (they think something is wrong with the tire internally) anyone ever experienced this problem? they say it's because my car is AWD, and the alignment is a lot more sensitive or something..

Go to gran turismo east, ask for an alignment by jeff. Jeff about in his mid fourties and has been doing alignments since he was 18. If you are not happy after having your car aligned by Jeff, take it back, they will do anything to keep your business.

If the tire has bad wear from the previous alignment settings the car can still pull. The AWD excuse is B.S.! Where I work we have the coutesy to rotate the tires and prove the theory to the customer.

    +1 for Gran Turismo.

However, before you take it to them, the other shop should rotate the tires
to prove that it's a tire problem.

I will set your alignment for $30 to whatever specs you want while you watch! I have done Sakari's, Calmnothing's, and have been playing with mine with my new suspension set-up. I've been master certified for 10 years and don't give bad excuses. This is on the side though and not through the company, they don't like to warranty modded cars. Shoot me a pm if your interested.BTW,what, if any, suspension mods do you have?

I have had a bad tire that had some internal defect that causes it to pull; generally this is diagnosed by swapping sides with the tire and seeing if it pulls the opposite way; if so this proves that it should be warrantied at least.
    Good luck

+2 for Gran Tourismo... They are awesome. They are out of my way but I'd still go to them to have anything done. Very personable, friendly, remember you and everything. My parents have been going to them for 10+ years i believe and when i walked in the first time, they knew who i was and knew who my dad was... Awesome shop...

mckenzietj did a great job aligning my old '04 WRX when he installed lowering springs on my former ride.
