FireStone on roswell road in marietta 2075 roswell road marietta, ga 39963 770-565-8920 Ask For Ayo Dawson Buy three and get one free...I was quoted $872.39 installed out the door for RE11's 245/40/18 :eek3: As I spoke with Mr. Dawson about WRXAtl. he told me he will run the same deal for members And I do have to give credit to Dragan for leading me to this
I wonder what prices we can get for other tires such as dunlop starspecs and similar but that is a sweet deal, thanks for the headsup
If I had the money, I would go get a set. I know my OE Dunlops are almost done and they are noisy as hell.
^^^ Im very interested in seeing how yours wore. I had one tire wear extremly faster than the other 3...and I rotated every 3k...:unamused:
I am a lazy ass when it comes to rotations. I have not really looked that close at them lately. I did not notice any uneven wear last time I looked. I know mine are about cooked, though. They are getting dodgy in the wet and even dry grip is suffering. I just need them to last till January. Then I can replace them.
I just took a look at them when I went out for lunch. They don't seem to be wearing uneven at all. You should know where I work. You can drop by and have a look whenever you want. Maybe you got a bad set from the factory.
We have had good use with the RE-11s however it's been on a 2000 lb civic that is only used at autoxes. We started at 4/32 and got about 250 autox runs out of them before they started to get alittle less grippy. I bought a set for my S2000 shaved to 4/32 during Oktoberfest (when the Bstone truck was in town). We will see next year how well they do on a 2700 lb car.
What kind of tread life should I be able to expect from a set of RE-11's? I drive mainly highway and side streets and only take 2-3 mountain runs per year. I would like to get about 30K out of a set of tires. Today in the heavy rain my tires were sliding around a lot so I decided to get a set of tires earlier than I wanted. The car just does not feel safe right now in the wet.
That is a good deal. When I worked for a tire manufacturer I was amazed how little the margin was on retail tire sales. Usually it is like $20 or less
That was me. I called and was originally looking at the G-sports at Discount Tire. Ayo gave the Bridgestones for A LOT cheaper than the G-sports @ Discount. Are you his Subaru buddy he consulted with?
Do you work there Josh or just know ayo? Bumpage for a great deal...now I just need to get my W2 and 1099
I just called and I guess this guy went to another store... I need some 255.35.18's RE11- Does anyone know where the best deal is right now for them? Thanks, Stephen
