Currently, I have 18g in 2.0 wrx engine. With all my supporting mods, I'm near 300whp with roughly 270-280 torque. I hit 18.5 psi at peak torque (~4k rpm) and taper down to around 15psi at redline. (I chose more reliable power than power bragging horses) Of course, if i add meth injection, i can run 22-23psi easily. but what i'm worried about is the clutch, transmission gears, and engine reliability. So, here is my new idea to keep making power reliably. I believe with cooling mist vari control, you can adjust injection rate in 2d (with rpm and maf v). If I inject little amt and peak torque and gradually increase injection rate toward the redline, I can run more boost and timing toward redline. is this correct?? What I want is more FLAST torque. like 270wtq all the way to redline. With meth, my peak torque can go higher than 300whp, but don't want to change out my gears sooner than it needs to be. i know it's 3 am right now. i feel like I didn't get to explain 100% how I wanted...
I believe with their kit you can do a RPM activated switch. They have quite a few options as to how you can set up the trigger point for the meth. I think what you are wanting is possible. You can also progressively inject as well, where you get a smaller amount at first and slowly ramp it up.
You should be able to do just that. Don't forget that Chance (EJRex) is selling a CoolingMist kit as well.
