If anyone sees Scott tuning a white STi with no front bumper and a HUGE FMIC that's my buddy Zach. Perrin Rotated GT30R with SMC meth injection. Hopefully things will work out fine. Zach called me last night and said the base map was knocking bad but I think something else is up. He trailered it to SS and as of 7:00AM this morning he was 1 hr from SOG. Lets hope there is no major issues and the car gets tuned. I have been anticipating this for a while hnoes: . It's gonna be a nasty one. Zach's STi is a little bit of a freak as he car seems to always be a little stronger than normal STi's. Good luck SS!
I doubt SS will have time to. Remember how long mine took and how upset that SS and I were that night. I remember that you even offered to stay and help set it up just to get two pulls in the middle of the g2g.
As of 11:30 they haven't started tuning. It's gonna be a long day. There were a few issues with the PCV system. I had it set up just like my system on my car but apparently the guy that installed Zach's FMIC undid it to make room and something didn't get put in right. Last I heard they were gonna start tuning soon.
Lots of issues. Well what I already mentioned and now his Front O2 decided to take a dump at the worst time. I feel bad for him. Ever since the rotated swap its been a nightmare but most of the problem was limited time.

Yeah I heard his will has been broken and he has everything he needs sitting here. Matt I mean sitting there not hear as in my living room.
The front O2 has been replaced. SS should be back on the road tuning. I think SS is gonna pull a late shift and finish this car up since Zach drove so far. Thanks SOG and most of all SS for taking care of us MB guys. They are really understanding considering we drive 5 hrs there. I'll keep you guys in the loop as I get updates.
Thats a tough choice, tell your friend to put it on and tune it and see how much he likes it over stock. He can always just take it off and retune. I'd think that a 2.5 would spool a GT30R nicely.
Well Zach isn't gonna tune his car all the way today. Scott is getting the injector scaling done and getting a 'safe' tune done so he can drive home. Zach ordered the wrong FMIC (read it hangs a full 2 inches BELOW the front bumper), and he is gonna order the TurboXS core and get that done and then back for a retune on the 24th. Time to talk to the boss and see if I can get off work.....
Its just safe. Not even using the AVCR and running it straight off the EWG for now. Retune day will net better results. I haven't seen it yet but he said it feels okay but he is only boosting 16psi. That turbo isn't even cracking it's eyes open yet. Spool is at 4500 but keep in mind no boost control whatsoever.
Well Zach got retuned and took me for a ride. DANG that car is SICK and it still isn't finished. Must be nice to have AWD and a useless 1st gear...hyahahaha 1st gear flys through so fast that there is no point in pushing it until you shift to second which is in no time with the 6 speed. Also his tune isn't even finished completely from what Zach told me. Good job SS!
yeah, I met Zach at D&B..very cool guy and loved his set-up....I was wondering how his tune went cause he said he wasn't on the boards...thanks for the update!!!
