Any ideas on cleaning buildup from inside intercooler y-pipe?

    Got any ideas for a good cleaner or brush or anything that will eat through the oil buildup and gunk that dries up and just sits there inside the y-pipe (mine at least)?

    This is mainly due to the y-pipe being used...fyi

    409 or purple power and let soak. PP works wonders on my pipes.

    brake cleaner will probably work well.

    will the brake cleaner evaporate pretty well

    Yeah, brake cleaner evaporates fast, but it will leave the crud there. You definitely need to rinse it with something or use a lot of brake cleaner and hold the pipe up so it flushes out.

    brake cleaner...its the new tide!

    You clean just about anything with brake cleaner. Evaps very quickly
