Hey all. Just seeing if there are any players out there. Me? I've been playing guitar for about 33 years. I play in a couple of bands. The main one being Lexi Street. Not really a band name, but the girl that sings. You can check us out at myspace.com/lexistreet. Also play with a band called Ten Story Relapse. You can check them out at tenstoryrelapse.com and myspace.com/tenstoryrelapse. How about a WRX owners band? Gary
I play guitar pretty regularly, and piano when I can. I've never really been in a band or anything but I have played a few coffee shops and such. I haven't written hardly anything though; I basically just play covers.
i dabble VERY LITTLE in guitar. and could probly pick up drums again pretty quick. if i had the money i'd buy me a nice set, but then again i dont have anywhere to put it.
I wanna get a program for my computer and do some dabbling. Does anybody know of some good programs for making beats and music production?
I know very little about electronic music, but I believe Fruity Loops is the name of a good program to start on.
I've got a few guitars but I just dabble in classical/acoustic whenever I can find the F@#$@ music. I haven't been able to find my stack o' music to play in a few months.
I'm a drummer as well - for the last 31 years... I own an electronic Roland V-Drum set in my basement. Played in many bands - rock to jazz. My favorite music is fusion (or as they call it musicians music) in which you don't feel like a drum machine... Anyone for some jamming? I got a room that will fit a whole band...
Guitar player here...it's been a while since I've played seriously. I was in a rock band in NJ/NY for about 4 years and had the opportunity to play shows in Manhattan, Long Island and New Jersey clubs. I sold most of my equipment, but kept my PRS, 1 acoustic and my H&K amp. I'm going to be selling the tube amp if anyone is interested. Here is a pic from back in the day...
Holy hell, nice guitar. Clay, have you ever had hair? I guess I'll fess up as the band nerd on here, been playing baritone for 15 years and am fairly proficient at trombone and tuba.
Nice! Haha I played trombone throughout middle school and high school. I wasn't a fan of marching band though so I didn't continue it up here. I kept intending on doing a jazz ensemble or something, but it just never worked out. I imagine I'm pretty rusty by now...
Thanks dude. I've had 2 other PRS guitars in the past...fantastic guitars. This was my first... Damn, I miss that guitar. Anyway, I kept the Singlecut and regardless of how little I play, I don't think I'll ever get rid of it. It was my #1 when we played out. Hair? Yes, once...back in the day.
I used to be a mid class brass player (also band geek). ;p Currently I'm more into the engineering & recording(live & studio) side of stuff, specifically through these anime conventions I do.
I love PRS guitars, just could never afford one. I have a fernandez flying V, shector dimond series, jackson performer and a couple acustics.
Picture sharing time? I'm down. A couple of years ago at a Borders. I play a Martin DCXE It's all black and sexy, like my car....and my women.
<--- Bass Guitar and Classical String Bass. Been playing for 12 years: Rock, Classical, Jazz. Minor in Bass Performance from UF.
not really a musician but been a disc jockey for about 3.5 years now and I couldn't ask for a better job!!!...use to play drums way back in the day..something I've thought off and on about getting back into..
i'm a plastic guitar player. brett is the bassist and alex is the drummer we're looking for a singer. pay is mostly in beer.
