Anybody have a dsl modem I can borrow?

    I have recently upgraded my dsl service and I am not getting the advertised speed. The modem I have is from 1999 and may be part of the problem. I'd like to try a newer modem before I call and go back to the 3mb speed.

    Surely somebody has switched to cable and has an old (but newer than mine) modem laying around.

    updating the drivers wont help?

    I've looked but they stopped making the chipset for it in 1999 so I doubt there are any new drivers.
