I'll be the first of the WRXATLANTA guys to jump on the dyno!! Well I helped put the damn thing in the ground. I'm on it at 10am sharp.
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that showed up today, I think it was a really good turn out. Plus it was pretty fun.
Wow your car picked up some HP Milo!! Great numbers everyone. What all was on that kickass white wagon?
Is that the wagon with a full ver7 STI swap? I remember someone on ClubWRX saying he was moving to the Atlanta area with that car.
Nice to see yall today, been a while! Howd the wagon do, that was a pretty nice car. Nice numbers to all. Jason
i wish that i was there today.... or yesterday now. i think i have around 175whp. haha Milo does have nice number!! Mike, that's good # without any EM.
the numbers i made could be because of dyno variations (its within 10%) or maybe my ecu has finished learning... the white wagon made over 300 hp... the owner took some videos... he said that he's gonna send them to me and i'll try to get them up on the site
The white wagon moved fom Washington. Yes he did pull at 300 hp, but with only 10 psi. It was amazing
GT scoob.... Yeah, you are not mistaken. I moved here 2 months ago and have settled in pretty well. I was amazed that my car made that much power at only 10psi... it was officially 301whp/284wtq. My mods: JDM ver 7 full motor/ECU swap VF34 STi 565cc injectors Perrin rails TXS hyperflow TMIC Helix up Perrin down Bosal 3" catless exhaust. Perrin shortram Perrin inlet Boost Cooler methanol injection Stock (unflashed) ver 7 ECU Now all I have to do is get rid of those ghetto wheels and get some version 7 golds. I heard you were doing a 6sp conversion. How is that coming along? Joe
6speed ended up being too much money so I'm swapping in a version 5 STI 5speed. 300whp with a VF34 at 10 psi, thats great!
Hey Kreeger, Her is the link to the Carbon Fiber Exhaust Heat Shield. They have it for $99.75. It is a special order from Japan so it will probably take a few weeks to get it. I had 2 wait about a month and a half. I ordered it the day I ordered my exhaust parts.
Thanks bro. I searched it as soon as I got home and will order one tomorrow. I also have to get an EGT gauge also and will probably do that through Top Speed.
Wow, so there is now TWO bug-eye wagon's with V7 STi swaps in Atlanta. My buddy Damon who hasn't posted much on nasioc has an 02 with almost a complete V7 car, the only thing he is missing is the 6spd. great numbers to all! I'd be lucky if my car was putting down 145 need turbo check his site out at www.blackwerks.com there are a few pics of the fighter there....that car is so much fun to drive, and get on....Holy hell.
I had a good time at the dyno day as well. Sorry I couldn't stick around very long. Had about enough time to dyno then hit the road lol. Nice seeing you all again, Dan
Sorry I missed this guys...I'll get to next one sometime down the road. Milo, nice numbers man! Later. - Clay
Sorry I couldn't make it to the meet, but I went yesterday and got my dyno done. Nice place, and nice people!
I would like to see the graph if possible. I am thinking of going this route to save some money and keep my car conservative. Did you get the AFR's too?
Yes, I got AFRs as well. I dont have a scanner here at my house. I will try to scan them sometime this weekend if possible. But to give you some idea, the torque curve is very broad, and the hp drops off to about 210-215 at redline. It is lean in the beginning to aid spool up and is still plenty rich the rest of the way throughout to help keep things conservative. Hope this helps.
Maybe Porter could post the maps or I'll see if he could send them to me in an e-mail, and I'll host them.
