This is a new fmic that someone's selling on nasioc. The interesting thing about this inercooler is that the piping runs counterclockwaise which is in reverse to the other fmic's out there.

Anyone got any ideas as to weather a clockwise or the wbr counter clockwise flowing fmic system is a better concept?

havent heard of that one. looks kinda like the injen one the weapon wrx has. the txs and knock off are both counter clockwise. i havent really seen too many clockwise ones before. i would stick with the counter clockwise flow just for the cooling factor.

  3. TurboXS flows clock wise... and I'm sure the knock offs do as well... I think you have it mixed up hehe ;)

yea mine flows clockwise. clockwise looks to be more efficient if you think in terms of the air flow. I mean a counter clockwise setup the air makes a 180 degree turn right out of the turbo where as the clockwise setup the air travels more natural without any sudden bends. As far as temp changes from the piping going over the turbo as long as you have a heat shield you should be fine and even if you dont i doubt there would be any issues. I am eventually going to heat wrap that IC pipe just for added cooling. You can fix the cooling problem with the clockwise setup, you cant make the air flow more smoothly with the counter clockwise setup. Just my .02
