Suches Pass (Wolfpen) is the best, technical, road in GA IMO.

Take 129 north until you get to Vogel State Park. Take the first left after, HWY 180. You will have a blast. When that road dead ends at HWY 60 (BP Station) turn left (or right if you want to go for an all day drive as stated in the above post). Left will take you back to a three way intersection, Stone Pile Gap Rd AKA Hwy 9. Turn left and head back towards Hwy 129. Turn left there and you will have made a loop or one "lap". :p

Richard B. Russell senic HWY is also alot of fun. It' near Helen, GA.

I would be weary of Helen. I went through there last weekend and oh my god there were a ton of people there. I think you'd end of spending more time dodging people and trying to find a parking spot than would be worth it.

helen? my parents live up near ther (about 5 miles out of the city/town/whatever...limits)

great area, especially if you manage to stay away from helen proper:keke:

any of the surrounding area is nice to ride through, plus, there is alot of history (if any of y'all are into that kind of thing) surounding the tourist trap known as helen....
but, i must say, tubing through the middle of town is quite fun on a hot summer day:rofl:
