Might have better luck putting this up on NASIOC...I dont recall anyone but Dan having a hydra EDIT: I just did a search, and I dont know if he finished it yet, but calmnothing was going to be running a hydra in his car. And also, If he is still around because the thread I found of him was from last summer, Jasons_STI was also running a hydra. http://www.wrxatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2033&highlight=hydra Jasons_STI http://www.wrxatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4575&highlight=hydra Calmnothing
I was at Batlground when Dan was tuning Jasons Hydra. I didnt care for it and I dont think that Dan cared for it too much either.
thanks for lookin out guys... the reason i asked was SS had a customer come in yesterday with a hydra... and he was havin some issues at the time... i think its all fixed now... thanks again
I *LIKE* the Hydra. Once we got everything worked out it seemed to go well. It's a little buggy, but neat stuff. His boost controller ended up failing, so it's the fastest 6 psi car in the world (60 lb/min GT30R FTW ) SS
Scott, is this the GT30R STI you were telling me about at the track day. If so I hope I get to see him on a road course, I think the response of the GT30R on a STI will make it a beast on a roadcourse. Matt
I'm glad you found the software online. If you encounter anyone with an older version I have the original software and a couple other versions. The people that were having problems with the Hydra were related to problems controling Sti DBW. I was told that the issue is fixed. I have been using/tuning my Hydra since Aug 2004 and it has been great. Never one problem. Prior to that I had a Utec and hated it.
